No Account Registration or Personal Info

ArtZoom is built to be a simple, lightweight game. We do not require registration, login, or any personal information (such as your name or email address) to play.

Local Storage and Cloud Sync

We use your browser's local storage (localStorage) to save gameplay details. This includes your daily streaks, game history, active guess modes, and profile settings (nickname and avatar).

To back up your progress or play across multiple devices, you can generate a sync code. When you use this feature, your gameplay history and statistics are securely transmitted to and stored on our server (Cloudflare D1 database).

Additionally, if you create or join a Café, your public profile (nickname and selected avatar) along with your daily game scores are transmitted to our server to populate the Café's shared group leaderboards. Your personal sync codes are never exposed to other players; only anonymous hashes are used server-side to manage Café memberships.

Google Analytics & Data Collection

We use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic and user engagement. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage information (such as page views, visitor counts, browser types, and approximate geographic regions).

This data is used solely to improve game performance and user experience. No personally identifiable information (PII) is transmitted to Google. You can opt out of this tracking by configuring your browser's cookie settings or installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-Party Advertising

We plan to display third-party advertisements on ArtZoom to help support the project. These advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) may set cookies or use web beacons to serve advertisements based on your visits to this website and other websites across the internet. These cookies do not store personal identification information. You can manage cookie preferences directly through your browser settings.
